Spectrum Camera Solutions was founded in 2012 with a single focus: to engineer explosion proof cameras that meet the most stringent global safety standards while delivering the imaging performance that modern industrial operations demand.

From our facility in Houston, Texas — the heart of the global energy industry — we design, manufacture, and certify every camera system that leaves our doors. Our products protect people and assets in refineries, offshore platforms, chemical plants, mining operations, and grain processing facilities across six continents.

Every Spectrum camera system is designed and manufactured at our Houston, Texas facility. We control the entire process — from R&D through production — as an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified manufacturer. This end-to-end control ensures consistent quality, faster lead times, and full traceability for compliance documentation.

NDAA Compliant & FM Approved

Spectrum products are NDAA Section 889 compliant — free of components from prohibited Chinese manufacturers. This makes our systems approved for US federal projects, critical infrastructure, and defense-adjacent facilities. Selected models carry FM (Factory Mutual) approval, one of the most respected third-party certifications in industrial safety.
