316L Stainless. Sony Sensor. Zone 1 Certified.
316L Stainless Steel
Electropolished 316L Stainless Steel provides superior chloride and chemical corrosion resistance — the material of choice for offshore, marine, and aggressive industrial environments.
Sony CMOS Imaging
1/2.8" Sony CMOS sensors deliver high-sensitivity imaging with Day/Night ICR switching — maintaining image quality across the full range of hazardous area lighting conditions.
40x Optical Zoom
TEZP PTZ cameras deliver 40x optical zoom with 32x digital extension — enabling operators to identify detail at significant distances from a single camera position, reducing installation count in large facilities.
IR Illuminator Compatible
The EZB-IR-07 certified IR Illuminator — also ATEX/IECEx rated, IP67, IK10, 316L Stainless Steel — complements both TEZP and FEZB with up to 50m additional illumination range.
All Models
Three stainless steel explosion-proof camera assemblies — TEZP-405, TEZP-405-30 with 200m IR, and FEZB-H105Q fixed bullet — all ATEX and IECEx certified for Zone 1 installations.

TEZP and FEZB cameras are certified for Zone 1 explosive atmospheres — covering gases and vapors in the most demanding classified industrial environments.
Questions from Engineers & Procurement Teams
The TEZP and FEZB series are the right choice when your specification requires all-stainless steel construction with an integrated imaging platform — no third-party camera body inside a separate enclosure. They use a dedicated Sony CMOS sensor directly within the 316L Stainless Steel housing, which simplifies procurement and reduces the number of components to certify and maintain. The D-Series and F-Series are modular assemblies designed around Axis, Bosch, Avigilon or Pelco camera cores, giving flexibility to specify different camera models. If your site has existing camera management infrastructure from those vendors, the D or F-Series may be a better fit. For greenfield installations where weight, corrosion resistance, and simplicity of specification are priorities, the TEZP and FEZB are strong candidates.
Both models share identical core specifications: 1/2.8" Sony CMOS sensor, 40x optical zoom (4.25mm–170mm), 32x digital zoom, Day/Night ICR, Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Image Stabilization, Defog, High Light Compensation, Privacy Mask, 255 presets, 8 tours, 4 patterns, 360° endless pan, built-in wiper, 316L Stainless Steel, and IP67. The sole difference is that the TEZP-405-30 adds integrated infrared illumination with an effective range of up to 200 meters — making it the specified choice for sites with complete darkness conditions, perimeter monitoring at distance, or where supplemental lighting infrastructure is unavailable or impractical in the hazardous area.
TEZP cameras output standard IP network video streams and support ONVIF profile compliance for integration with most modern video management systems. PTZ control is handled via standard PTZ command sets over IP. Before final specification, confirm your VMS platform's compatibility with the TEZP control protocol. Contact our technical team with your VMS details and we can confirm integration requirements and provide protocol documentation to support your engineering package.
Yes. The EZB-IR-07 is independently certified ATEX and IECEx for Zone 1 hazardous areas. It shares the same 316L Stainless Steel construction, IP67, and IK10 ratings as the TEZP and FEZB camera bodies. With an illumination range of up to 50 meters, it can be specified alongside either camera series to extend low-light and night-time surveillance capability in classified areas where electrical infrastructure for supplemental lighting is limited. Being separately certified, it can be mounted and maintained independently from the camera assembly.
TEZP and FEZB enclosures are designed for metric cable entry threads consistent with IEC installation practice, appropriate for ATEX and IECEx certified installations. Certified cable glands rated for Zone 1 must be used — the selection depends on cable outer diameter, conductor count, and shielding. Spectrum can advise on appropriate certified gland options for your specific cable schedule. For installations in North America following NEC/CEC practice, discuss conduit adapter requirements with our technical team at the specification stage.
The IP67 rating on TEZP and FEZB cameras provides protection against temporary immersion, which is more than sufficient for wash-down environments. The 316L Stainless Steel enclosure also resists the cleaning chemicals commonly used in process plants and food-grade or pharmaceutical hazardous areas. The built-in wiper on TEZP models further supports image clarity during high-humidity or wet conditions. For ultra-high-pressure cleaning regimes (above IP69K threshold), confirm cleaning procedures against the enclosure specification before finalizing the installation design.
Spectrum provides full certification documentation for TEZP and FEZB project packages: original ATEX and IECEx certificates, EU Declaration of Conformity, installation and operating manuals, technical datasheets, and dimensional drawings. These documents are typically required by EPC contractors, certifying authorities, and asset owners for hazardous area equipment registers (HAER). Contact our team with your project documentation requirements and schedule — we can provide submittals in the format required by your engineering specification.
